Earlier today at Summer NAMM, the NAMM Board of Directors continued the organization’s legacy of service to the industry at-large with a vote and seamless transition of the Executive Committee.

Earlier this evening at Summer NAMM, in a special celebration of the spirit of the independent retailer, the industry gathered at the Top 100 Dealer Awards to applaud the accomplishments, excellence and innovations of music retail from around-the-world and honor the contributions of music retailers to their local communities. Earlier today at Summer NAMM, the 35th Annual TEC Awards celebrated the pro audio and sound production nominees across the 23 Technical Achievement and eight Creative Achievement categories. A special product showcase from several nominated brands including Yamaha, Avid, BOSS, iZotope, Line 6, Rupert Neve Designs, PreSonus, Steinberg, and Eventide, served as a gathering point for the leaders in pro audio to acknowledge and celebrate the many innovative nominees.

CARLSBAD, Calif. – May 30, 2019 – The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) is pleased to announce the list of enterprising music product retailers to be honored at the organization’s Top 100 Dealer Awards.

The National Music Council (NMC) will honor iconic funk visionary George Clinton and beloved "Peanuts" composer and jazz piano giant Vince Guaraldi at the organization’s 36th annual American Eagle Awards on Thursday, July 18th at the Summer NAMM in Nashville.

More than 100 music industry leaders, notable artists and arts education activists descended on the nation’s capital this week to advocate for all school-aged children to have access to quality, comprehensive school music education programs.

Earlier this evening, The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation honored Chairman Robert C. “Bobby” Scott (VA-03), Committee on Education and Labor, with the organization’s SupportMusic Champion Award. The award was presented in recognition of the Chairman’s unwavering commitment to music and the arts and for his role as one of the primary authors and champion of the Every Student Succeeds Act in 2015.

At Summer NAMM, the annual mid-year gathering of music instrument, retail and pro audio industry professionals, a plethora of professional development, networking and business opportunities awaits over the course of three days at Nashville’s Music City Center (July 18–20).

NAMM’s Museum of Making Music (MoMM) and Friends of San Pasqual Academy have joined forces to present the iconic sounds of Creedence Clearwater Revisited on Wednesday, September 25, at the Belly Up Tavern, in Solana Beach, CA.
