The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) today announced that the NAMM Young Professionals (NAMM YP) group, a networking group of music industry professionals age 40 and younger, will be hosting its first-annual Summer Rodeo Event on the first evening of the 2011 Summer NAMM Show.
The NAMM Foundation announced today the final recipients of its 2011 Music Products Industry Tuition and William R. Gard Memorial Scholarships. The programs support the academic expenses of qualified individuals enrolling in college music education and business programs in the fall of 2011.

The NAMM Foundation announced today that it is accepting applications at www.nammfoundation.org for its 2012 President’s Innovation Award to support under graduate and graduate students pursuing careers in the music products industry.

Recently, a record 40 NAMM Members traveled to Washington D.C. and held more than 103 meetings with Members of Congress to address key music products industry issues of stopping counterfeiting and strengthening music education. NAMM's annual Advocacy Fly-In was four days of education, training, meetings and special events to further the industry's interests.
