The TEC Awards Steering Committee is pleased to announce that actor, comedian, and musician Fred Armisen will return as host of the 37th Annual Technical Excellence and Creativity Awards (NAMM TEC Awards), being held Saturday, June 4 in Anaheim, California.
The 2022 NAMM Show is announcing more than 150 sessions for established and emerging professionals in the music products, pro audio and entertainment technology segments. Held in the Anaheim Convention Center, professionals will have the opportunity to further their careers by connecting with top thought leaders in sessions carefully curated to accelerate success and designed to engage and inspire business growth against the backdrop of the global gathering.
Women of NAMM (formerly known as SWIM), is excited to announce that the council’s podcast, formerly known as “SWIM Masters,” is relaunching as ReVoicing the Future: A Women of NAMM Podcast. The monthly podcast offers insight, stories, and secrets to industry success from female leaders who share their professional journeys and lessons learned to empower the professional development of emerging talent.
On International Women’s Day, Smart Women in Music (SWIM) is pleased to announce the group’s evolution to Women of NAMM (WON) and status as an official, all-volunteer council of NAMM. With the move, WON will continue to pursue the vision, mission, and objectives set forth by SWIM to benefit women in the music products industry and expand to include female professionals in other NAMM member categories including the pro audio and entertainment technology segments.
NAMM welcomes its global retail members to be recognized for retail excellence as part of the organization’s annual Top 100 Dealer Awards. Now in its twelfth year, the annual awards honor retailers who have demonstrated a commitment to best-practices, creativity, and innovation in music products retail. The submissions process is now open for NAMM retail members and will close on Friday, March 18.
As the full impact of the global pandemic comes into clearer focus, the NAMM Board of Directors, our members and our staff have charted the path for The 2023 and 2024 NAMM Shows.
On Thursday, June 2, ahead of the opening of The 2022 NAMM Show, retail leaders, managers and professionals from across the industry are welcomed to participate in two half-day intensive training experiences, the Retail Innovation Summit and Retail Financial Summit. Each summit will provide the tools and strategies to successfully surmount the residual challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic and supercharge business for the future.
Retail Innovation Summit
The 2022 NAMM Show is calling musical acts of all genres to showcase their talents during the annual trade show, held June 3-5 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. Called the Bands at NAMM program, the platform offers artists the opportunity to submit their act to play one of 150 live performance slots on one of six stages during the annual event.
On Thursday, January 20, NAMM’s Believe in Music opened to welcome a global contingent of professionals and music enthusiasts from more than 120 countries and territories for professional development, live interviews, networking opportunities, and performances.
The Parnelli Awards Board of Advisors announced that comedian and musician “Jammin" Jay Lamont will be the host for the 20th Annual PLSN/FOH Parnelli Awards, which will take place at the Anaheim Hilton on June 3 during The NAMM Show.
